an independent second opinion for AI answers

Don’t decide on one AI’s say-so.

Get a second opinion on any AI answer. Steer asks several AI models the same question, has one challenge the others, and shows you what is settled, what is disputed, and what you forgot to tell them.

verdict: the models split because two facts are missing — your local sales capacity, and what entering costs before the first revenue. Answer those and ask again.

what you get

A second opinion on AI answers, from a referee with no stake

You’re about to act on something an AI told you: a strategy, a market review, a contract. One confident answer isn’t enough, and you can’t tell from it whether it’s right. Steer is built for researchers, executives, investors and business owners.

Never rely on a single AI

One AI sounds just as sure when it is wrong. Several models answer on their own, and you see where they agree, where they truly split, and which facts you left out of your question.

agree · split · missing

A referee with no stake

Steer isn’t owned by an AI company, and no model is the permanent judge: the referee changes from question to question. You choose which models take part, from up to seven providers.

Effort goes where the doubt is

Only the answers that look shaky are challenged and answered again. Your first questions are free. After that you pay each AI company directly at its own prices, with no markup from Steer.

what people do today

You can already ask around. Here is where that falls short.

A general comparison of approaches, not of specific products.

One AI can be confidently wrong. Several can agree and still be wrong.

Steer doesn’t guarantee the truth. It shows you where answers split, what your question left out, and what no model could check, so you can find weak reasoning before you act on it.

what people ask

Anything where one confident answer isn’t enough

a strategy to challenge

“We plan to enter a new market this year. Where is this strategy weakest?”

Market entries, hires, big purchases.

a claim to check

“I read that cold showers boost your immune system. Is that actually supported?”

See what holds up before you rely on it.

a market review to check

“Here’s my summary of the market for this product. Which figures and claims are shaky?”

See which figures hold up and which can’t be confirmed.

a document to review

“Here’s the lease / freelance contract draft. Which clauses should I push back on?”

Different models catch different clauses.

an investment thesis

“Here’s my thesis for holding this fund for ten years. Where is my reasoning weak?”

Checks the reasoning, never tells you what to buy or sell.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be technical to use it?

No. Sign in and type a question. Setting up your own AI keys only comes up after your free questions.

Isn’t the referee just another AI?

Yes, and that is why no model is the permanent judge: the referee changes from question to question, and you choose which models take part. It challenges reasoning and lists what couldn’t be checked. It doesn’t decide what is true, and you stay the judge.

What does it cost?

Free to try: sign in and ask three questions on us. After that, add your own AI keys and pay each provider directly, with no markup from Steer. Steer Pro, with included credits and more models, is in development.

Is my question private?

Your API keys are stored in your browser only and never on our servers. Without an account, your questions and the models’ answers stay in your browser too. If you sign in, your rooms (questions, answers and context) are saved to your account by default so you can open them on other devices; you can turn that off, and delete them, any time. Questions pass through Steer’s server on their way to the AI providers and aren’t kept there beyond a saved room. If you use the free questions, we also keep your email address and a count of how many you’ve used, plus anonymous cost numbers. Steer also counts anonymous page visits and which features get used.

Is this advice I can rely on?

No. It’s a way to test an answer before you lean on it. Models can agree and still be wrong, which is why the verdict also lists what couldn’t be checked. For anything with real money, a contract or your health at stake, use Steer to sharpen your thinking, then talk to a qualified professional. Steer is not financial, legal or medical advice.
